This is the worst state I've seen this club since we've comeback to Brighton, there is completley nothing to look excited about apart from the obvious. what are we to do when we get Crawley on our fixture list in the league? We can't drop that low again but watching the Albion at the moment suggests relegation is more than a good bet. Its sad that the heights Dick took us to helped us to see how far we really are from what we get told by watching us drop, drop and drop untill we lose half our support and talent in the team, selling Hammond last season was a huge mistake.

Mickey out, White out, booker out, Lynch back and some money put towards the 1st team and all would be at peace with the fans and the club.

Even if they sacked Adams on monday, any new man would only have 12 or less days of the window open. If he was going to be sacked it should have been after the Colchester game.

What a load of old shit. We lost to a team today who - bar the brilliant Delph & the on-loan Trundle - were no better than us for much of the game (& that ain't saying much).

Get a f***ing grip.

so we should be a good 10 places higher, right?

im starting to see a strange irony, we went up from the basement under Adams and we'll return with him.

He was at a very low ebb after the Colchester game and I believe that defeat at Swindon would have seen him walk. Victory there perked everyone up but 3 weeks with no game, followed by a defeat shows that nothing has really changed. With away games coming up v Cheltenham and Hereford, the pressure is going to get worse.

Rubbish, Brighton had what 2 shots on target in the game? Leeds pretty much pasted Brighton in the second half.

Brighton were cluesless, Everytime Brighton lose this season the other team havent been that good according to NSC, so what does that Brighton?

Sadly there are still as few of them left. Talk about living in the past.

From what I've seen this season it is a very poor division which says it all about how shit we are!

Adams must be due the Chairman's dreaded vote of confidence soon.

Before we gave them the 1st goal, I maintain that there wasn't much between the 2 sides. What was the H/T Score? Who had the best chance in the first 45?? I realise it's all pretty incidental now, but I've seen us play a lot worse. I'm not saying that you personally think this Mr G, but it seems to me that a lot of people's expectations go out of control when we play a so-called big club. When the inevitable happens (i.e. we fail to beat them), the back-lash is predictably OTT.

I don't know what the solution is to our current plight, but it's clear to me that it's gonna take time; much-needed investment; and the supporters to play their part. Sadly, it doesn't look like any of these things are likely to happen & the clock is now racing on relentlessly. :(

and there you have it, we would not be in this position if we still had Dean Hammond in our midfield.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't Hammond offered a new contract on highest wages in club WITH a get out clause he could leave five months later if we didn't get promoted?

If he didn't sign that contract, he obviously didn't want to stay. When a player makes it clear they don't want to play for you anymore (applies to Lynch as well) I'm really not sure what you can achive by refusing to let him go.

It amazes me how quiet the board is at the moment, they surely know the majority of fans are on a low and are unhappy, yet no communication has be heard. Why has Harty or Knight not re-arranged that radio broadcast for the next home game, ie the Leeds game?
