I'd be surprised, not by Amex but only double the price. I can't imagine B&H Jobs paid anything too much at all and our stock has increased in value significantly. Barber will be touting the Premiership opportunity big time now

Could be wrong, doubt we'll ever know the numbers

I heard that B&H came in late as their preferred sponsor dropped out late into the deal. I doubt if we got much from this.
Like another poster, I heard thatAmex are lined up for a long term deal and believe that Errea are most likely to win the bid for kit.

I know the current deal with Brighton and Hove Jobs for shirt sponsorship is up at the end of the season and we're bound to get a bigger name for bigger sums of money on the shirt.

What about manufacturers? How long do we have a deal with Errea for?

If you could pick and choose manufacturer and sponsor, what would you go for?

I've said countless times.

My mate does all the Nike kits for all UK teams.

He wanted Brighton. Bloom said no, Errea have a long term deal. Bloom invited them down for box tickets though!

Probably because, apart from their premium clients like Man United & Arsenal, the Nike kits supplied to Football League clubs are cheap, nasty affairs that can be purchased by every bunch of fat, chain smoking pub footballers in the country for their Sunday League side. You could make your own Southend United replica by purchasing a £12.99 identical shirt from the Nike catalogue and glueing a badge on it. The only thing that would be missing is the sponsor. Same with adidas, we simply wouldn't get a bespoke kit but would end up wearing either a catalogue shirt, or a differently coloured version of last season's United replica.

Used to quite like the Puma kits, but again, at our level, we'd get a catalogue kit that's the same as all the other league teams wearing it (Cardiff, Burnley, Crawley, Plymouth, Morecambe, etc). Lotto make disgusting shirts (QPR), Burrda just sound rubbish, I don't even want to think about who put that horrendous Palace kit together. Warrior have made a nice Liverpool home shirt but the away and third kits are shocking.

So I guess it'd be Kappa or Under Armour for me, or stick with the existing manufacturer, they seem pretty decent.

Yes a last minute deal with B&H Jobs would explain it ... we'll certainly do better this time.

Would be disappointed if it's Amex, they would likely be strong favourites but I think a different shirt sponsor has us less "beholding" to them, not sure

Happy with Errea ... would puke if it went to Kappa

Would hope we either stay with Errea or go for Adidas for the extra revenue from the leisure/training stuff. Sponsor - maybe Harveys ?... but prob American Express or whoever coughs up the most dosh.

I normally quite like the Puma tops , just not the latest designs for them.

It's BOUND to be a betting sponsorship isn't it?

I thought Amex didn't like betting involved hence why the betting booths were converted into refreshment bars.

I just assumed we couldn't get a decent deal with the leading bookmakers.

Be interesting which way we go with collars (I know , boring subject) but seeing as alot of players prefer apparently but Hoskins isn't a fan - Wonder if we will make tops available with and without them?

If there can't be a decent deal struck with bookmakers (i.e. have zero presence at the stadium), why would they want to be involved in shirt sponsorship?
Guessing now with Barbers involvement we may be in a stronger position to get a decent deal.
