That's what I was thinking. On the basis of what has been made public I saw no reason for her not to return. Other countries have been rehabilitating youngsters.

It hinges on citizenship, under international law you can't withdraw a person's citizenship if that would leave them stateless. Shemima's parent's were born in Bangladesh so she is also (and now only) a Bangladesh citizen, so far the legal process has agreed with this. Not sure Bangladesh is entirely happy about this and I think they have stated she would be subject to the death penalty if she rocks up there.

It's good to see that the appeal judges rejected the latest tax-payer funded appeal although I suspect there must be many more radicalised people roaming our streets and keeping the police and security services busy; and that the risks to our culture, security and way of life are only going to grow greater and greater in future. I dread to think what the UK and Western Europe is likely to look like in 2100. I'm just glad I won't be here to experience it.

Its one thing taking away a secondary citizenship, but she was UK born. She's ours and we need to deal with her

She's apparently not a Bangladeshi citizen, she's just eligible for citizenship (in much the same way I could apply for an Irish passport if I wanted to). That's what's so insidious about this - it means anyone with a foreign grandparent now has a diminished, second-class form of British citizenship that can be withdrawn by the government.
