Seems very bizarre, I just can't understand it from either side. Cardiff are getting an inexperienced manager with no idea of whether he's actually any good on what is probably a sizeable wage and who is likely to alienate the one player of any quality that wants to play for them (Bellamy) while Shearer is going to a club in the middle of a drastic cost-cutting exercise.
