I went had really good time left just after example finished when it started peeing down. Could be a really good event each year just needs better organisation and a few bigger names

They were selling tickets outside Churchill Square in the morning so must have been under capacity.

Think they were hoping for 20,000 but was reduced to 10,000 think they sold around 7,500, was badly organised would have been better having it on the original date in july

Too many festivals these days. They certainly needed some bigger names. I see TRUCK festival has gone into liquidation. They won't be the last....

My favourite is The Great Escape. Tickets already on sale for next year. Always good for discovering new stuff.

my mate ran/set up the beachdown festival, his dad lost 600k.

I thought it was quite good, quite a few chavs though, heard of one or two phones being nicked from pockets. Zane Lowe played a surprisingly good dance-heavy set, Razorlight played to a half-empty field Not impressed with the £4-a-pop beer, they missed a trick not having a Harveys tent.

Agreed. We buggered off early as it was getting chilly. Good ratio of birds to blokes but a lot of gurning chavs that were openly dealing. One beer tent was ridiculous. They went for the cheap option and padded out the festival with DJs but there were a few decent sets.
