Seriously.... The ref was a complete mug.

I know I see it through blue and white specs, but he was really bad, wasn't he??? Or IS it just me??
What he did actually blow for, seemed to be in reaction to the crowd.
Everything else was given by the linesmen.

I thought he was overtly against us in the 1st half but evened it up in the 2nd.

Calde had to go it was two footed and that means a red whether ball won or not.

I thought he was as bad for both sides, didn't want to give us anything first half but seemed to give everything that had a whiff of a foul to us second- felt like he was influenced by the croud on one or two. I hope Poyet doesn't moan about the ref in his post match interview. He was a mug, but a fair mug- and we were lucky he didn't send off Bridcutt.

He wasn't the best, I think it's fair to say!
Inconsistent with his handing out of cards

Didn't think he had a particularly good game, I must say.

I suspect Charlton will complain about him as much as we do though. The award of a penalty was clearly an error as he blew too soon and should have waited a split second to see what happened. I think they were complaining at half time that whoever conceded the penalty should have been red carded too, however this would be a wrong assumption as the attacker actually scored, therefore a clear goalscoring opportunity was not denied.

I didn't see a lot of the Calderon challenge but plenty on here seem to think it was two footed so fair enough. And it was a mystery how their no. 19 was permitted to keep conceding free kicks for climbing all over Murray, without getting a yellow card for persistent fouling.

Just seen the highlights on SSN. I think he did us a favour re the penalty, it was definitely a penalty and the goal looked fine. If that had happenned to us and the goalkeeper saved the penalty you would be pretty pissed off. It looks like Casper wasn't a million miles from saving it.

The sending off probably was a sending off with the current rules. Didn't look nasty but he definitely made the tackle with two feet.

The sending off was one of his better decisions!

The penalty was a mistake, he should have let play go on for 2 seconds and given the goal. It was pretty obviously going to be an easy chance.
Woeful inconsistency, nonsensical decisions (gave them a couple of freekicks their players seemed surprised to get), managed to book Bennett for one slight tug on a players shirt but their defender spent the whole game trying to violate Murrsy and Wood and barely got anything given against him.

I suppose you can say he didn't affect the outcome, Charlton got the goal they should have had, Calde got the red he probbaly should have had, those were the big decisions. He was diabolical but those were just about right.

When the ball found the net in the second minute we thought it was offside and whichever Charlton player hit the old onion bag was practising their shooting for later on. Nothing wrong with that - not a booking at that stage of the game. Conversation amongst each other was about how Christmas had gone and other things but our horror at seeing the penalty lined up was sheer disbelief.

Calderon's challenge looked reckless going in two-footed but it made me wonder with the straight red card if the referee had had a very large wager on Charlton claiming three points with two crucial decisions in the first ten minutes. I'm not one to have a go at referees normally, it's a very tough job but for the Addicks they must have thought all their birthdays and Christmases had come at once.

For the rest of the game it wasn't a case of Charlton playing badly, more a case of the Albion being fired up and raising their game.

What a c**t of a referee. His sympathetic free-kick decisions in the second half nowhere near the penalty box didn't make up for having a very heavy influence on the game.

Well done Albion on a terrific draw in the face of adversity.

Fry got away with dozens of tugs and shirt pulls. Two of our players got booked for doing far less.

Woeful.
The number of times their centre backs climbed all over Murray and/out sandwiched him was a disgrace and even when he called it not a yellow in site despite it happening numerous times. Think the officials performance was summed up by a throw by the dugouts near the end. Lino gave it to them (wrong) they took it only for ref to bring game back to site of original throw after ball had gone out of play again a few seconds later. Poyet held his head in his hands
