All the way back to the 80's the Balkans has produced a steady stream of exceptional to world class footballers. As you say with a massive passion for their nations, born out of the 90's war.

As are the majority of matches in the group stages. Who cares? If you want to watch teams stacked with incredible players you watch certain games in CL, PL, La Liga etc
