BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Kajagoogoo announce British tour

Yes, its true. Legendary effeminate mulletted 80's pop sensations KAJAGOOGOO are to reform, and will be touring the UK later this year. The talented New Wave / Sythpop heart-throbs will soon be announcing dates and venues for what promises to be the most phenonenal cultural event to hit this country since Jimmy Nail played to a sold-out assembly hall in Streatham.

No doubt they will be belting out a selection of their iconic hits to an adoring public, such as the number one smash funk hit "Too Shy", "Big Apple" and, er...some other ones. Having gone his own way after the group tragically split in 1983, charismatic lead singer Limahl also has a rich back catalogue of solo hits to draw upon and bless us with, such as the hauntingly uplifting (but factually incorrect) The Neverending Story, as well as The Riddle. Or was that Nik Kershaw ?

Anyway, tickets are clearly going to be like GOLD dust for this, so make sure you're quick off the mark when they go on sale. I'm going to TRY to get tickets for Wembley Stadium when they play there, but I don't mind going up to Knebworth.
Bring. It. On.

Just when we thought the world was coming to end, something fantastic like this happens.

Beachy will have already sorted out his tickets I'd imagine.

Brings back memories of my last job, where the HR manager (lovely bloke) was called Tushar Shar.

Oh what fun we had with that.

He's looking fantastic, that will be the LOOK of the summer. Remember where you saw it first,

I'd never believe he'd be able to top his haircut which (anyone who is old enough to remember) was THE haircut of the 80's.

Everyone had hair like that in the 80s, even Margaret Thatcher. It was the fashion.

Is the one on the right Shane Warne's demented, and in terms of the Warne familys weight, undernourished brother?

Ooh to be aah was always my favourite song as I shared a stage with them performing this in London many years ago.

They performed together on that 'Now That's What I Call 1982' ITV show a few months back.

It was tragic, not least because Limahl (an anagram of Hamill, fact fans) kept winking at the crowd. What a c*nt.
