That suprised me also although he did have a good 15 min spell in the second half when Worthing couldnt get the ball over the half way line.

I thought that generally it wasn't a very good game as Worthing were poor and there was only ever going to be one winner.

When Worthing didnt score in the first half it was a matter of time before Brighton did.

The wind was a major factor in the game. Brighton knew all they had to do was soak up the pressure (although Sullivan did do two or three really good saves) and then attack when the wind was with them.
Jakes first goal was excellent and the second a tap in but both well taken.

I couldnt undertand Worthing attacks in the first half hitting high balls and ho[ping and then in the 2nd half their goalkeeper was kicking goal kicks out to the right wing and they were going out of play. I suggested to Ben that he should aim for the left wing or centre and they would stay in play which he did with the next kick but it still didnt reach the half way line.

I though that Elphick marshalled the Brighton defence in the second half really well holding them on the halfway line and telling them the ball wouldnt go any further, which it didnt. I think that he has a bright future ahead of him but nobody else really impressed me.

it was freezing, it chucked it down, windy and the football was rubbish, but still its better than 1st team home football

well done the boys although i reckoned that there were only 4 players that hadnt played 1st team football, and i think at least 6 players had scored for the 1st team

good day out, shame about those idiot brighton fans at half time trying to start a fight
