Bristol Rovers get a 30% sell on and £100k for a striker that no one had ever heard of. We get 7% for an England Under 21 striker.

Pah......and double pah

At work - probably
I seem to remember that Rovers didn't want to sell him to us and the 30% was the only way they would let him go. But they had to sell 'cos they were desperate for the cash - sounds familar???

Look on the bright side - if he goes for £10m in a couple of years time - we get another £1m.

Actually that's crap isn't it - £2.5m??? - we should have got that in the first place!!

We should have got an appearance-related clause inserted.

If we got £1.5m for him now - what on earth did DK reject from Spurs a few weeks ago? £2.50 and a bag of oranges??

It also appears that we only get 50% from Spurs this year and the remainder next year.

Buy now pay later

Spurs ofer was 50% now and 50% in 12 months time (usual way that premiershite clubs have structured payments in the past). DK presumably needed cash on the nail. (and quie right too IMHO)
