Just been listening to another talk sport love in, phone in for our Mr Potter as best candidate for spurs job(again)
Impossible. Folk say here he’s not good enough for a bigger club [emoji56]
Are these Spurs fans feeling ok?

Might as well give this thread a bounce as he will be linked again.
Swansman what do you think about koeman? I notice he doesn't seem to be linked with spurs or Newcastle. Always rated him as a manager. Think he would do a good job at BrightonYup, he will. Same outcome again as well.

Nah, not now.
GPott backs himself.
He's going to have about 10 chances to manage Spurs over his career.
If IF he really wanted the Spurs job he's unlikely to take it first time round.
Conte situation is confusing. He turned them down in the summer. Spurs have no money. Conte likes to be in control (won't get that at spurs).Conte on his way to London it seems so stand down
That said ……. Spurs do love a last minute rejection from potential managers

Gonna end in tears again (hilariously)

Maybe Levy has bitten the bullet and promised funds ?
Maybe Conte happy to sell Kane and use the money from that.
Think you are dead right it will end in tears…… even if he gets the job he is another conservative approach manager who Spurs fans will turn on after they lose the next NLD

Spurs have access to plenty of money, they just (rightly so IMO) didn't want to spend it if they could help it.
I can imagine these negotiations will involve a few concessions to Conte's (rumoured) demands. Levy's not going to like having to go back, cap in hand, after the talks broke down but he doesn't have much choice.
Signing him now is going to be more costly than what Levy was prepared to pay in the summer - whether it's a bigger salary, more control, a bigger backroom entourage, more favourable contract clauses, a bigger transfer fund or a combination of all.
It's going to be funny to watch, that's for sure.
Why is nobody talking about Viera? I think he's proven he can do it in 'London', so Spurs seems the perfect step up

I could see Conte being in discussions, and then at the last minute going to Newcastle.
I think he is a good manager but there is severe costs to bringing him in anywhere, namely that he will treat everyone he doesnt like as non-humans. Dont think he is someone who should coach Brighton the day Potter moves away. Suspect the next Brighton manager will be someone few have heard of.
