Seriously though gang we have to play the longer game with these Palace twats. How many times have we seen the cream of our talent plucked from us in the window? They can crow about how f***ing great they are AFTER January as far as I'm concerned. It'll be a much reduced team we face in March.

Loyalty is for fans not players, they have limited time to make the most of their careers. When Wilf and Glenn move on, I'm sure most Palace fans will wish them well.

Probably the only person on here that wishes him well. Young, hungry professional who wants to further his career. Doesn't seem that fussed about the money, just wants to play football. Good for him.

Transfer window news | Football | The Guardian

It does seem like he will be sold, to be honest I never doubted it. If he would have played for you lot the same thing would be happening. To be honest im more worried about Murray as we have pretty decent replacements for Zaha already in the team but not a striker as prolific as Murray

Not too disimilar to Bridcutt's comments then.

Lets face it, pretty much every Palace or Brighton player would join a premier league this January if they get the chance.
The difference is, we haven't been banging on about how they wouldn't. Several of the Palace fans here have been adamant (not the singer) he wouldn't go if they had a chance of promotion.

Transfer time is nearly always bitter sweet. Excited about the prospects of some potentially key signings but also the feeling always there, kind of waiting for someone to go (normally one of the better players). Personally for us, I am hoping we dont lose anyone including CMS as I think second half of the season we have a real chance to now push on.

Again, personally I think Zaha is class and cannot believe anyone at championship level wouldnt want him in their squad. On a selfish note, I hope he moves on in Jan as wouldnt be so sure the owners would spend much, if any of the incoming fee.

The thing is though that fans wear their hearts on their sleeves and what to believe what they are told about 20million etc, where as I have seen it so many times already and im only 34, which is young considering some people I know have been supporting the club as long as I have been born. When my dad was alive he used to think exactly the same as I do now. I do think he is likely to be loaned back to us though until the end of the season. I just hope we can use some of that money to strengthen, then again no one really knows what the chairmen/manager have in their mind as neither do the Brighton fans
