The three Albion goals have been on YouTube for a while. However, I've since got hold of a longer version of footage from this memorable match in the rain at the Goldstone. In the light of what Craig Noone has said, interesting to see Jimmy Case's reaction to scoring against Liverpool!

Enjoy!

Once again, more vintage Albion footage is available from www.seagulls.tv - I still can't get hold of the full match VHSs of the Peterborough FA Cup matches of 1985/86 - if anyone knows anyone who bought one at the time, please PM me!

Brilliant video footage. Well, good to see after all those years. However, the League game I remember better is when we were 2-0 up and if my memory serves me, Ian Rush got two to equalise.

Ahhh, you mean this one? With Kenny Dalglish falling over at the kick-off... :snigger:

80/81 was my first season watching The Albion as a young teen. Was at The Goldstone for the 2-2 and 3-3, great games. Missed the 83 Anfield FA Cup game but was saw all the home cup games plus Highbury and both finals. Seems another world now looking back at that footage.

The 3-3 was a great experience as a 10 year old at the Goldstone, one of those games that cemented me as Albion forever...

This was my first ever game that went to. I was a Liverpool fan then, until after the game when I converted to the Albion.

I seem to recall an evening game against Liverpool where Souness went off after 20 mins with an injury [runny nose or tummy ache perhaps?]

Don't remember the score, or the season ????

He pulled his hamstring and went off in the 1983/84 FA Cup tie, although not an evening game. See the link in my signature...

I was at that 3-3 but don't remember the goals at all. I would have been 12.

Strange how quiet the crowd seems in that footage.

I remember the atmosphere being really good that day. From that clip you wouldn't think the crowd was over 26,000.

I took my son to that game because my daughter was ill she was mortified and my son was crushed by a police horse

No - the one where Rush scored twice was an evening game in 1983.

thats the one and I think Rush scored in the last few seconds of the match

No - it was Gary Howlett & Michael Robinson. Perhaps you'd been at the Babycham before the game.

That`s it Gary Howlett.... and it was Cherry B not Babysham
