Yes during that time but there is a bit of competition now.

would be great to have him back, in this division he'd skin all the teams and would be another attacking option. mcghee never gave him a proper run or if he did it was never in the right game/ position. an arse to chip us off tho for more £, good team leeeds, yep see ya seb mate

massive krusty

This 'he doesn't play well in winter' bollocks was something you could level at Paul Brooker, but NOT Seb Carole. In fact, if anyone feels like being arsed to going back to the polls of the time, Seb was usually in second place for Player of the Season (behind Paul McShane) up until about mid-March, when from there he badly fell away.
Spot on - and looking back it's not hard to see why, he was probably already planning his exit by that stage.

The idea that we would turn down this supremely talented player is :jester: to the power of 100.

fraser? no offence to him but carole would have his place

I'd rather have a 100%er like fraser than a player like carole who only plays when he wants to. carole might have the skill but he goes missing when things get tough.

championship is a hell of a lot better than this league and he's a hell of a good whinger.

Absolutely, we should let him nowhere the team.

Never go back - it's never the same second time round.

After reading about Carole wanting to be released from his contract at Leeds, I wouldn't really be suprised if Frutos isn't asking to leave here and then they both go back to France, probably why he wasn't on the bench on Saturday ?

This notion of "never go back" is bollocks - good pros like Dean Windass and Teddy Sheringham did OK returning to Bradford and Spurs respectively, so it can work.

However, good player though he was I wouldn't want him back. We have a different team, a different manager and we're in a different division.

The whole thing has a different dynamic now and the team are beginning to gel so why upset things by taking an expensive gamble?

Just thought some of you would like to know, he is currently negotiating a pay-off from Leeds.

He's staying at Leeds now.

Should be fully fit for Tuesday.
