I don't escort from the ground, The same stewards who escort from the ground go on the pitch etc

So what would happen if you were near the touchline, and someone ran straight past you wiedling a breadknife and screaming "McLEEEEEEOOOOOOD you are SHIIIIIIT" ? Would you, as the nearest steward, pursue the assailant onto the pitch and bring him down before he wreaked his terrible vengeance on our promising new winger ?

Or would you run up to the touchline, stop, and shout "GET HIIIM !" ?

If they had a knife then it's different, Direct threat would mean different action

So what would happen if you noticed a small family of voles nesting on the pitch, right in the path of Dean Cox, who is desperately chasing another hopelessly overhit pass from Doug Loft ? Would you cry out to Dean to warn him as to the proximity of the huddle of tiny mammals he is bearing down on ? Would you hurl your flourescent jacket over their cowering hides ? Or would you just shrug and let Dean trip over them and mash them in the process, safe in the knowledge that he'd only cut back inside and scuff the cross straight into the keepers hands anyway ?

I think you know the answer ;)

In the ticket office last week I was told that they have sold quite a few more season tickets this year than last so it's taking more time to get them all printed and ready for sending.

They gave me that story back in April when I asked where my pre-paid post card receipt was - it arrived in June, a few weeks after the cheque had been cashed.
Can't have been true of course because the increased ST sales are all down to the change of manager.???

And anyway, they've had since mid-June to run them off. You'd think it would be better to print and send them all in batches over the course of 3-4 weeks, rather than doing the whole lot in one go a week before the season starts.

I doubt it. This is the first time in nine years we've had a new sponsor, and they ALWAYS seem to leave it pretty late before sending them.

It wouldn't usually bother me, its just a shame this year cos I've bought one as a present for the boy, but looks like Monday 4th August will come and go without his season ticket arriving.

You could ask the club if you could go in and pick it up. I called them this week to confirm mine had been processed (money not taken) and the said that mine had been printed off on monday.
