Do you know what was said then?
Yeah the fella asked him if he has got his Season Ticket yet !

I recall Hart said in the Argus it was something to do with his kids, and the fact he has their names tattooed on his arms.
Along those lines but just a bucket load more insulting.
Glad all of your friends are holier than thou
However much he was provoked it was a silly sending off. Should have waited until they were off the pitch and out of sight of the ref and then if hitting him was what he wanted to do, then do it.
Instead he got a 3 match ban and probably contributed to him being frozen out.
It should also be noted that Harty, after being sent off in that game, came on here and apologised for letting the team down and for making the mistake that he made, which was something he had no obligation to do, and which says a lot about him as a person IMO.
In an ideal world yes he would have waited until out of sight. If anyone spoke about my littlun like that i would not be half as restrained as Harty was.
Being within earshot of what was said i can't believe how well Harty behaved TBH
That aside, his actions did cost him his place in the squad for a long part of last season.
Surely as a steward, you should have been there to intervene, as the incident happened after the final whistle and as you heard word for word what was said, you must have been next to the incident.
Along those lines but just a bucket load more insulting.

I'm not saying that makes what he did right, however.
What happens on the pitch is down to a different set of stewards unfortunately as if the other player had stepped off the pitch to say it i would have acted on it straight away!!!
I was about 4' away but they were just on the pitch
Not holier than thou.....just think violence is a bit daft.
Thast a bit daft innit ? Obviously somebody needs to be in overall charge, but when it comes to doing the job, shouldn't all stewards have the same "powers" ?
What EXACTLY was said?
Different training for a start and different stewards have different responsibilities. Mine only includes upto the touchlines not on the pitch
So what would happen if you were escorting a fan from the ground, when suddenly he escaped from your grip and dashed onto the pitch ? Would you have to stop dead at the touchline, while he dances around three feet in front of you pulling faces until a "pitch steward" arrived ?
