i will not be bothering

will be at university next year, and seeing as i will be living 5 minutes away from whaddon road and can pick a cheltenham season ticket up for £200 at most on a terrace, will take that option and save myself £200

As much as i'm fed up of only seeing us win about a quarter of the games I see, I will most likely renew for next year. Although it does depend on how much the tickets rise by. The club should at the very most freeze the prices they were for this season as 5 home wins out of 20 in League One is unacceptable.

I'm renewing because....
1) I dont fancy shopping on a saturday
2) good Inheritance tax planning...my dads gonna pay for my ticket !!

but that aside ..the club need to be very sensible on pricing to prevent regular STHs becoming floating fans

All brilliant logic, and if I were you I would do exactly the same....

...except for one TINY flaw.....

...I'm not a Cheltenham fan.

4200 sth x 42% = 1800 next season

I am not renewing. I have purchased 2 st's for all 8 seasons but it is simply an unnecessary luxury and makes no point when you can pick or choose any game you want now and often get the tickets for £ 15 from the club or on here. when you are paying £ 23 a ticket and cannot commit to all 23 games it makes no sense at all, not with holding the truely awaful product on display at home this season and no facilities, Withdean fatigue has taken its toll.

Also sth's have been taken for granted and with no benefits with the 1 big game a season this has a factor.

I have done my bit and I will be choosy next season and plan to go to around 6 - 8 games.

I'm afraid that's the same for me and at least half of the other 7 I sit with; all have been STHs since we came back to Withdean but the West Ham fiasco still sticks in a lot of peoples throats despite all the crap about not being loyal some idiots post on here. It was a very big own goal which the club might have got away with if we were top of the league. But when you're playing crap football, in a crap stadium for exorbitant prices with no definate end in sight to our off the field miseries...... you can afford to pick and choose your games. So I and many others I know are doing just this when the forms hit the door-mat. It's a lot of money year after year to go on blindly funding. I've just taken my blinkers off basically. I can't justify the expense living so far away with such poor value for money.

Ditto.

Sorry but we're going to pick and choose our games next year.

I'm going to renew this time and then knock it on the head probably. Spent many a long year without one, and nobody died.

It was only that pain in the ass season where we beat bottle-jobs Reading to the Championeship that tickets were getting tight to the point of stupidity i.e. some bloke smashing up the club shop cos the tickets had all gone, loads of us having to 'prove' that we were Swindon fans by memorising the name of their assistant manager and Christ knows what else.

I know for a fact if I renew this season I'll miss four or five games through illness, work commitments or holidays. With a resale value of precisely zero, I'll be pissing a hundred quid up the wall. With the best will in the world, there's only so often a sensible person can do that.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
The club are going to have to seriously think long and hard about what they are going to do to generate interest, at the Scunny game a few weeks ago I got a free ticket for the South, and then met up with my Old man in the North for the second half, couldnt believe how empty the new corporate hospitality bit was, many many regulars seem to have drifted away, around where my folks sit was half empty, even 2 years ago you wouldnt dream of getting a seat in there, out of 7 tickets the family and friends used to have, only 1 still has one and its a similar story round the ground.

Going to be a lot of empty spaces next season unless we get a Falmer YES.

To be fair if we do not get a Falmer yes before the start of the next season can the last person close the door behind them and turn the lights out.
