Renewed mine, but for the first time since we moved back to Withdean, there was some hesitation. Have to say that I am really glad now that I did as the usual pre-season anticipation is starting to kick in.

I hesitated as well and didn't renew until after the "cheaper option date" had passed ,so it cost me more and I had to sweat on whether I'd keep the same seat.

Looking forward to it now though, a couple of late signings would get me much more excited.

Yes and no...

Had two. Wife decided that, with the baby, she would not want to make as many trips back from Somerset this season.

Mate who lives in Brighton in a similar position, but his seats were somewhere out on the wings. So he's having the one we're not renewing.

Not renew? Not on your nelly!!!

I've had a season ticket since we returned to Withdean (I was pay on the day, or used to nick my Dad's ticket prior to that), and now I'm probably a season ticket holder for life!!!!

I can't abide not being at home games....

:lolol:

Years past I used to pay on the gate and then went to away games only due to distance.

Last season we relied on the postal ballot and ticket exchange here.

As is well documented a house move is imminent so two brand new season tickets have been purchased :)

Absolutely no doubt in my mind, renewed and managed to get a concession's price since my 16th was a few days after the deadline, nice! £240 quid, couldn't think of anything i'd rather be doing on a Saturday.

Renewed, but if we have a dull time of it this year will have to consider not getting one for the first time next season. That money could go along way and as has been said the atmosphere at Withdean is really starting to piss me off.

I have renewed - 15th year in the last 21.

God, that makes me feel quite old.

Unless it became Chelsea type expensive I would always go even if we were in the Conference. It's part of my Saturday routine and I managed last year to put £40 away each month for this season.

I'm not going to the Leicester match though - I think £15 - £17 is a bit rich for a kick-about five days before the season starts.

Talking of prices I looked at the Spurs web site the other day to see some reports on BZ, and whilst there looked at their ticket prices. Their homes games are not too bad but if they want to go to watch them play at Stamford Bridge a couple of weeks into the season it's £49 for an adult. £49 f**king quid !...........

All of a sudden Withdean seems quite reasonable.

But don't the Spurs fans have to pay some sort of membership to get those ticket prices?

Just sticking to the away games I hate Withdean

Most of us hate Withdean but unfortunately that is our home ground for now and where we have to go to watch the team.

Of course. Don't understand the people moaning about withdean. Yes, it's a crap ground and there's little atmosphere (apart from the evening games) but it is still our home ground - and will be for a few more seasons yet.

Was season ticket holder at Gillingham and that was much worse than Withdean.

Yep, renewed. Held the same seat since day one at Withdean. Family means I don't do away games nowadays, so best to guarantee tickets for home games.

I renewed someone elses ticket and transfered it into my name so I got the discounted rate and a decent seat at the fornt of block D. Last year I went to all but one home game asnd was dotted all over the place so it'll be nice to have the same seat all year this year.

Can't wait for the standard saturday
