Will deffo be renewing. But will not do so til much later in the season. If everybody just blindly renews at the earliest opportunity a) the club will get less money and b) the club may be tempted to take their foot off the gas (again) on the playing front. The drop in attendances post-Xmas was a wake-up call to the board that despite the zeal of the Albion fans, some of us DO actually care about the standard of football served up. Some to the point of voting with their feet. If you can afford to hold out on the discounts, keep the board's eye on the ball by not renewing til the last possible minute I'd suggest.
Done it. Just in time! Happens every year, end up leaving it until the last possible moment. I always say I'm not going to leave it so late next year but always do.
It will be interesting to see the levels of renewals as this will be the first time, since being at Withdean, that the club will not have a captive audience. I would expect to see better levels of customer service and PR from all departments as a result or the situation will get worse the longer we remain at Withdean and in this division.
I'm a season ticket holder but won't be renewing it. I'll be away for the first 6 games and be in Reading at uni for the rest and may not be able to make for some games. Still be coming to every game I can though.
I think with an extra 2000 seats in the ground next season a lot more people will take their chances and pick and choose their games.
If most people were honest, even the most hard-core blindly stupid optimists would have to admit the standard of football has been dire this season, and Withdean is a cold damp morgue.
In any other business, if your product is crap and overpriced, people will stop buying it, and eventually your business goes bust.
...but I'll probably renew for me and the nipper in June again, like I did last year
