Worthing
Do you have an empty feeling inside, can't wait until the start of the new season or glad it's all over for a few months and take a well earned holiday ?

Cricket season kicks in, so a few afternoons of drinking at the County Ground. Then this Summer there is likely to be a 2 game tour of the USA for England (football) if the FA ever get off their arses and sort it. Back from that then the Albion Pub Crawl of London, Southdowns Ale Trail, friendly in Le Havre, pre-season games and all of a sudden it is the beginning of the season again.

I have an empty feeling inside at first, but after a while I'm glad it's over for a few months so I can take a well earned rest. After all, I go to pretty much every game, home and away. I'd like to do something ELSE on a Saturday rather then travel up and down the country to see the Albion...

I don't like it, I'm looking forward to the next as soon as it finishes.

I'm delighted we have done so well. I thought I was going to be totally stressed.
I'm going to worry about the Ashes and think about making the play offs next season.

Usually I feel empty but this year I have been some emotionally knackered by the albion that it will be nice to have a bit of a rest and get going again away at Selhurst in August.

It's generally one of two feelings depending on what happened the season before, both of which result in exactly the same longing for the new season over the summer if that makes any sense.

If we've had a bad season (like getting relegated a couple of years ago) then I can't wait for the new season so we can hopefully bounce back.

If on the other hand we've had a good season (like getting promoted last year) then i can't wait for the new season and the chance to build on the success.

I think you'll find that most pre-season friendlies are in July.

I miss it so badly. I end up doing weird stuff, like shopping and D.I.Y and even gardening.
