There's a real statement of intent. By appointing SO'D, they obviously want to ensure that they stay exactly where they are as quickly as possible, and preferably in the first season!!

Wonder what "big compensation" is for a manager on a 12 month rolling contract? A bit less than 12 months' salary would be my guess - not enough to pay a decent player's wages still less buy one :nono:
But it's a a manager they need.

Three quarter finals with England, above and beyond what we achieved with Keegan, McLaren and Capello, second best results of any manager apart from Sir Alf.

This. Sven did as well wit us as anyone could.

If he wasn't such an old goat and spent more time thinking about togger and less thinking about Ulrikas minge we wouldn't have ended up with fuckwit McLaren.

Still got Coppell and Brewster but clearly not the attraction they would like to think they are..................... as for Forest? Hardly the "iconic manager" they promised fans a few days ago.

Oops! Coppell going too? Never mind....... still got Brewster :)

Un-f***ing-believable! I expect Crawley will get a serious amount of compensation wedge from Nottingham Forest for Sean O'Driscoll. No doubt they can probably afford it with their new owners. Steve Coppell would do a good job but it fucks up their preparations for this season.
