Seagulls World settings - a 'Tech Heads only' thread

All the time I've been using Seagulls World, it's never worked properly, at least in terms of 'remembering' me and my settings. Before anyone says ' But GT, d'you have cookies enabled?' the answer is yes, and I have had no problem at all with any other cookie-dependent sites.

Each time I log on, it asks for my username and password. Once I'm in, it defaults to 56k - even though I have broadband. Each time I select a new video item within the same session it defaults to 56k with its now-legendary Christmas cracker radio sound quality. And I have to tell it, "No, I'm still here, and yes, I've still got broadband." Grrr....

When I emailed "support" :lolol: they jolly helpfully suggested I just delete all my cookies and start again. I did - but it didn't solve the problem.

Oh yeah, and that Match Live window never opens on its own. I always have to take the optiion to 'click here'. Perhaps they just don't want me to listen.

Having said all that, I still think the SW service is basically okay -apart from the match highlights video quality (but not news, which is very good) and that bloke's absurd, gargle-voiced post-match edit dubbed on commentary...

Anyone else had problems? Anyone got a fix for it? All help gratefully received.

The same for me.
Always have to log on (double click the box for username and it should drop down in a window, then when you click it the password automatically enters).
Always defaults as 56k (I have b/b too).

Just live with it.
