Oh well, that'll cost the club more money then.

Hardly suprising though, it was a bit of a melee at the end

Ten grand fine coming our way then.

As we have already found out after the West Ham scrap and the Lincoln City/Macclesfield Town (??) stories, there's little point in contesting this because, to the FA and/or Football League, a charge is the same as being found guilty. They are, after all, policeman, judge, jury and executioner.

If a referee's report goes in, then that is it.

The FA can act on a complaint from one member of the FA or from a member of any county FA who happens to have been at the game or seen it on TV, but will always act if it is in the refs report.

Yes according BBC both clubs and George Wood their goalkeeper coach also.

No mention of individual players or officials of BHA.
Presumably he the one that took a swing at Cox at half time.

I was just wondering if that was the same George Wood who played in goal for Palace many moons ago. Was he the bald old git?

No doubt there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth at little old innocent Hartlepool...

Thing that pisses me off about these charges is they are not relative. ie we could be fined exactly the same amount as say Sheff Utd despite our resources being a million miles apart

how much of that should come out of young Elphick's pocket????
None. Despite all the wailing and tooth gnashing coming from the Hartlepool region he didn't do an awful lot, it probably would've kicked off whether he'd said anything to Barker or not.
