All I remember was the year he was with us there was a lot of debate about the goal keeper, with him, henderson and kuipers, so I checked it out:

Kuipers - 48% win rate
Henderson - 36% win rate (40% if you include the penalty shoot out with millwall as a win)
Flinders - 16% win rate

I think those stats speak for themselves.

Oh god I don't think I can think handle another Kuipers/Henderson like scenario on here. Sure wars have been started over less

We have to accept that FDM wont go on forever. We need a cover for him if he gets injured who has more skill and experience than Sully.

It's not as simple as that is it though?
There are ten other players in front of the goalkeeper that can affect the outcome of a game.

The FDM can make some brilliant saves, and often gets the situation into his hands, but can sometimes slip up. I dont know though, It seems wrong to let him go

Let just settle this!
He is EX Palace if he did become good would you be able to take the constant jibes from those eagles?

Perhaps, but that season the team was much more settled than this season, and the ten in front of kuipers were generally the same ten in front of henderson who were generally the same ten that were in front of flinders.

why do we need a new keeper? FDM is easily our legendary no1 who has saved us on many occasions and in reserve we have a good upcoming keeper who is better than his record suggests

So is Nicky Forster, in fact he's even a Palace fan and I don't see people slagging him off. We've also had Simon Rodger in our team who was brilliant and also wasn't Dean Blackwell ex palace? (I may be wrong with that one)

I don't give a shit where they've come from as long as they want to play for us when they get here.

Yes, it says that when Flinders was keeper, we had a shit defence!

Henderson would have shipped dozens and dozens in goals even behind Man Utd's defence this season, why even mention him?!

I'd love Flinders back. He was a much better keeper than Kuipers and like Sulli has age on his side.

But you'd have said anyone was better than Kuipers, so it's hardly a ringing endorsement of Flinders.

If we get a new keeper, I'd want him to be better than Kuipers, Sullivan or Flinders who, in my opinion was not better than Kuipers. He kicked better but that was about it.

I've have no objection to Kuipers being replaced but I'd be very disappointed if it were Flinders.
