Incredible game. I was listening at home after a fairly big operation and the doctors had said strictly to keep calm and no sudden movements for a while. Well that went right out of the window when Bridcutt scored. I can still feel how much that hurt today!

It was an amazing game and the result for me sealed our destiny for the season.

During the 46 home league games in 1975/76 & 1976/77 we scored three or more goals on 22 occasions. Four or more on eleven. The stats include two 6-0 victories, a 7-0, and a 7-2.

Them were the days.

Nothing compared with 10-1 and 9-0 in consecutive home games in 1965/6. I think my first Albion game in 1960 was 6-1 (Bristol Rovers)

27.08.1960.

You may have seen us beat Liverpool at home that year.

The two most amazing consecutive games in the history of Brighton and Hove Albion were without doubt
Wednesday 30th April 1958 Brighton 6 Watford 0 followed by the next game on Saturday 23rd August 1958 Middlesbrough 9 Brighton 0.
I was ten at the time and was at the first but not the second thank goodness.

My "Fab 4s" off the top of my head - I really can't remember seeing many... (I know a few I missed..)

Man City at home in the cup (4-0)
Cambridge away (4-3)
Liam Brady's team in January (did we do it twice within a couple of weeks? v Cambridge? 4-1?)
Huddersfield at The Amex - Ulloa (4-0? 4-1?)

and the worst...?

I vaguely remember seeing somewhere that we haven't had a 4-2 scoreline at home in YEARS, which is something I mentioned on Saturday just before Birmingham noused it up and made it 4-3. I can't remember the last time we won 4-2 at home, pretty sure its never happened at the Amex. Anyone remember a 4-2 at Withdean ?

There was a 4 at Withdean v Bristol City. El Abd scored a belter. 4-1 I think, but might have been 4-2 n
