Trained all day yesterday and is fit, will go into a Diamond formation with Lampard in front of the back 4, Terry set to take up role alongside Campbell.

Marvellous scenes but why is Lamps the man playing in front of the defence, I'd have thought Gerrard would be a better bet to play the holding role but there you go.

I'm confident of a morale boosting victory today that should set us up nicely to smash the Croats.

I'm hoping Lampard does go forward at good oppertunties though, we need his long shots to shit up their defence...I mean they will be owrrying about Beckhams crossing, Owen/Rooney up front and what Scholes is goona do. Having gorgeous Frank charging up there aswell and taking shots will really shit them up, looking at that attacking line-up and our defence it is abit hard to see where they are gonna score from!
We need to start rushing them early and not give them time on the ball, play proper Prem style and not this European "give them time on the ball" rubbish!

Why diamond formation? They look much more comfortable playing the normal 4-4-2

Whatever formation we choose and whoever plays where in that formation shouldnt be a problem in this game.
We should win comfortably, but i can see the Swiss making it difficult and the heat playing a part, an early goal would be perfect.
