Things like this really scare me. Firstly, as has been discussed before, there are no plans to build a mosque. Someone has got the idea in the head and run with it, even though there's absolutely no truth in the matter.

Secondly, have you seen the details of the petition?

'We the Christian population of this great country England would like the proposed plan to build a Mega Mosque in East London Scrapped. This will only cause terrible violence and suffering and more money should go into the NHS.'

I draw your attention to the second line. 'This will only cause terrible violence and suffering'? Really? So if they actually were going to build a mosque, the sole thing to come out of it would be violence and suffering? Who believes such bullshit?

It's a great way for a company to track down the dimmest members of the population though. There are dozens of companies who rely on their customers being none-too-bright, this petition would be a gold mine for them.
