Am i missing something here ??? You say you "Know how much Brighton means to you", but it seems you support Leeds United ??

I didn't, I was quoting BoF.

But this is a Brighton board, if you want to post this kind of shit about a club that's about to go bust, please f*** off and do it on a Leeds board.

I don't agree with Starry on this, but if you'd been a Leeds fan with your club about to go bust and a load of fans from a nearby small club kept telling you how pleased they were about it, you might not forget so easily those hammering you when you're already down.

Barry Hearn said we should be kicked out of the league in 1997. I'm sure there are one or two on here who remember that, even if hopefully we don't want them to go out of business. A little relegation would be fine, though...

Let's have a little honesty here, we all wished the worst on Leeds and they got it big time.

Would we really care if Leeds were going bust ?

Exactly. Remove the word 'Scarborough' and insert 'Manchester United' then ask everyone how they feel.

I wouldn't be that bothered about the club, but more for their decent fans losing the club they support...and before you ask, and it may be hard to believe, I have met a few.

Oh sorry. I must have missed everyone rushing to Leeds' aid when we going pear shaped.

The Scabs were particularly vocal about our situation and it's such a shame the tables are turned. No really. It is.

Two wrongs don't make a right...

If my refusing to support the Scabs is what causes you to have a sad day then I'll trade my life with you!

And I never wished them any thing, just not going to rally around and pretend like I care, when really? I don't!

I've just had an email from Scarborough FC

Before Christmas you signed a petition relating to the future of Scarborough Football Club. As you know Scarborough FC needed its local council to agree to the principle of lifting a covenant on it's existing ground – the McCain stadium – which would be the first step to the Club eventually relocating to a new ground on the outskirts of town, paying off our existing debts and allowing us to finally put ourselves on a financial even keel.

As Scarborough fans we are positive that the volume of signatures on the on-line petition - over 12,000 - was a major contributory factor in why the Council recently voted unanimously in favour of this proposal. Thank you for signing the petition.

I can't stand Leeds and hope they have a number of seasons at the ragged end of Div 2 but I don't want them to go bust. It would be fantastic to see the Champions of Europe  playing at Accrington Stanley, Boston and Dagenham and Redbridge on a Tuesday night.

And nor would I you. But I remember all the bile and vitriol from the Scabs, they didn't think about how much the Scabs meant to them and how much Leeds meant to us during those dark days.

Starry just curious but how come someone who has such a passion for Leeds posts on here so much. Do you post on he Leeds website as well

I didn't want Leeds to actually go bust, but I did laugh a lot at the problems they had. Simply because they weren't f***ed over by a board that tried to sell the ground from under them, they weren't f***ed over by a board that attempted to asset strip the club entirely. No, they tried to buy the premiership and the Champions League and f***ed it up.

But the biggest reason why I laughed my tits off at their problems was because of all the wanker Leeds fans trying to lord it up over everyone else when they were having a reasonably good season (not a great season as they still managed to win f*** all). All that Champions of Europe bollocks being dragged out again. f*** me it was funny to see those twats stuck back in their place, and I for one will be very very happy indeed if they go down again this season.

There is a massive difference between having a board that spend big to try and buy success and f*** it up and having a board that simply try to f*** the club over. f*** Leeds, good luck to Scarborough.
