Not sure what'll happen to Goater now, but we've got Kitson, Forster, Ferdinand, and Owusu above Goater in the pecking order.

QPR tried to get the Goat but his wages were too high for them.... any chance BHA then if thats the case?!

We don't. Maybe a player that will create chances for them first.

Morgan is decent, but I personally think that Leon Knight is a better player and similar in his nature so you'd be better off with what you've got.

Owusu, on the other hand, already has 5 goals this season and IMO is on his way out on loan now (he's never going to get past Kitson, Forster and Ferdinand into the starting 11!). Any takers?

Wilts, what do you feel about the signing of yet another OLD forward, especially one as injury prone as Ferdinand? Really suprised that Coppell hasn't forced Majedski's hand into signing Zamora, unless of course he doesn't think he's good enough. The guy from Crewe, who's name escapes me could well be worth a gamble too, proven at this level and I guess you have the finances for the right player, even if he was expensive. Anyone who can help a team into the Premiership will seem cheap once the Premiership coffers are opened to you!

Um, fans are split probably about 80/20 really in favour of Sir Les.

Ferdinand has had injuries, true, but I don't really take into consideration his age when thinking about the fact that he scored 12 in 22 games for Leicester in their relegation season last year. If his record is that good despite his age, then I'm all for it. When we signed Goater (or should I say PARDEW signed Goater!), his record was good about 3 years before that, but not up to much at the time.

I imagine Coppell may still go in for Zamora if (a) he can offload Goater and Owusu, and (b) in that time Zamora doesn't find another club.

Oh, and obviously if we have any money left! I don't imagine Ferdinand's wages are particularly low!
