i was in there just before my op about 3 months ago, and they where still there then. Looks like i will be able to walk that far again soon so will update when i have managed it . love that pub proper local

With a mate once at the buckle and bumped into Alan Biley. We chatted for a few minutes and everything was very normal. Then, suddenly and alarmingly, Alan just legged it off along the beach. Weird.

Today i met Steve Burtenshaw ( one for the oldies), albeit i was not born when he was playing but a very interesting chat about his career at the Albion and coaching/ chief scouting career at Arsenal.

was with Gerry Ryan two weeks ago over from Eire on a visit, son is playing in Australia,he still has a big interest in the albion and was asking about other former players from his time .Struggles to walk a bit ,but was on good form.

Bumped into Liam Brady at Lingfield races a little while ago whilst waiting to be served at the Bar - he ordered a bottle of Champagne!
