So whose fault is it - Bas's? Surely that can't be right, after all he's the guy that loves us and just wants to play for us isn't he?

I think it is a total waste if he does end up back with the Gills.

Is that Wilkins sticking up for Knight though?. Trying to make it sound like we've made a good offer, when in actual fact it's a shitty one?

Surely it can't ever be the agents fault.

Could it be that the agent speaks with forked tongue (as the westerns used to say many moons ago)?
Playing the club off against the player?

Bas made last season entertaining from February when he arrived and was the shining light in a very mediocre team. Let's face it anyone who could start scoring goals gained instand cult status as no-one was scoring many.

However the team has moved on and with the additions this season is more competitive and perhaps this has shown us that Bas maybe is not all he was and therefore is being very greedy and fortunately we have a chairman who sticks by his guns.

Bye Bas, best of luck and fond memories but trust us - you ain't that good son.

One of the clubs fighting for survival will snap him up.

He kept us up almost single handedly last year and alot of managers will have Savage as their target. It's been nice but to be honest I think we've gotta get over him now and start by dropping him completely against Yeovil. He needs to be replace, and soon. Not by Revell/Elder,Knight needs to get someone in on loan if we're serious about the play offs.

True but can we do any better?

I,m sure there are better players than Bas around......and who would be happy to play for the Albion. Just one stumbling block...........if they,re better than Bas, they will also cost more than Bas,s wages. So........no......I don,t think we,ll do any better.
