Did anyone else see Buffy with Wossy on Friday night?

What a miserable humourless self obsessed cow! Within about 2 mins you could see that she that she did just not 'get' the idea of the Ross style interview and the associated humour. I'm not convinced it was the occasional problem between US and UK style humour but perhaps her agent ill advised her on what sort of chat show she could cope with.

She basically had one rather long winded anecdote and was noteably arsey when Wossy interrupted with his usual cheeky and near the knuckle witticisms. He soon spotted this and his gentle tease soon had a noticeable edge particularly in relation to labelling Yanks as a bit dumb.

In conclusion if she pitched up naked at the door, she'd now have to beg nicely not withstanding her dodgy eye (check out her make up ads!);)

very strange - I missed the interview but my good lady (who is deepy prejudiced against Buffy due to my promise to dump her if Miss Gellar came calling) told me she thought the interview was great and that she now wouldnt be so bothered about being dumped in her favour.

She thought that SMG had a good sense of humour and excellent banter with Wossy.

Blimey! With respect was your Missus watching the same show? It was painful and it was SMG's expressions particularly her eyes which were the give away. She didn't like the saucy stuff and her laugh was really false and the dumb Yank line went down like a lead balloon.

You sure your missus isn't pulling a reverse psychology trip on you on the basis that if you are dumb enough to dump her you are then lumbered with real Yank bitch?:p

I imagine this interview saw some smart-arse interviewer basically victimising a celebrity to big himself up against a lovely he knows he doesn't stand a chance with. Giving boitchy anecdotes like some kind of 'scratch your eyes out' catfighter, the girly-man mis-used his position to wind SMG up for his own publicity.

English humour? or all that is bad about slick tv interviewers?

Class act that she is, it sounds like she kept a higher profile and didn't stoop to his level (and he stands even less chance with her)

Well done Sarah, if I were there I would've rescued you from the nasty twerp and bitch-slapped him hard .

I thought she was a MASSIVE improvement on Barbara Windsor and she did have a sense of humour, she just didn't rise to Ross's crude ladish behaviour. She handled Ross really well and contrary to what Metal Mickey says I think she gave as good as she got, which is unusual for most of the airheads (Geri Halliwell types) he has on .

Not impressed with J Ross interview style. He seems to interupt the answer to his question all the time with cheap jokes and smart comments that kills the whole flow of the interview.
Always trying to big himself up and put everyone else down. Likes the sound of his own voice and that defeats the whole point of being an interviewer.

I agree Icy, I don't quite understand as to what she was supposed to have done wrong. I've seen some terrible interviews in the past and that wasn't one of them.

I only saw part of the Sarah Michelle Gellar interview but I didn’t think she came across very well at all.

I liked the bit when she said she couldn’t understand him and that they spoke a different language and Ross replied that he spoke English.

Hurray! I was just starting to think it was me who thought she was shite.

Rather than criticise Ross i think celebs and their agents need to do their homework before selecting a show to appear on. You know what to expect and you know how to deal with it. If its not your bag, opt out. For example if you want sycophancy go Parkinson and if you are easily offended give Ross & Norton a wide berth.

Metal Mickey, you're talking out your arse.

SMG was fantastic. - She is renowned for having a very dry sense of humour - which she showed on friday.

JR seemed to enjoy himself during the interview and obviously 'got' her sense of humour which sadly you didnt.

And yes I would stalk her!!

Hmmmm As reported in the Daily Mirror today Miss Gellar upset the UK press with her general attitude. Not that forthcoming in interviews and would not pose for any photos. It was also noted that when politely approached she was signing no autographs.
