[Film] Saltburn

Anyone seen it? Unbelievably good film, very strong themes throughout, but a brilliant watch.

In other news, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-68397443 , if this was your home, you would be fuming. I would 100% be looking at legal action against this women if it were my home. Or is that too harsh?

Anyway, just wanted thoughts on both matters as I'm a bit bored this evening and just counting down the days until Rome.

This 'women' simply did what a lot of others did and identified the location. I would suggest that if people want their home to retain a certain anonymity, then they should not allow it to be the central place in a major film. She also publicised that there were public footpaths on the estate and that people should stick to them. Terrible person.

I still havnt got over watching The cook, the thief, the wife, the lover as a kid with my parents. Saltburn is one of those films but yes I have to admit I thought it was class.

My first thought was the consequences of going too vigorously on a rock in a tidal cove. With the tide out, obviously.

Small barnacles may have made a contribution.

Calamine lotion was the solution.

See original thread Films to Watch
I didn’t realise it was a period drama

One of my favourite films (and soundtracks), but I can imagine how excruciating it must have been to watch with your parents!
