Which is exactly the point I made earlier; if people like you with a preference to sit (probably 80% of our fans) are included in a survey then the answer will always be no to rail-seating. However, if the questions were:
1. are you interested in standing and singing at matches?, and
2. would you buy a season ticket for a safe standing section of the North Stand?
Then you would establish how many rail seats to install in that section and everyone else can carry on as they are. What we would benefit from is some decent co-ordinated singing from the NS.
80% you say?, whilst l have no idea of the exact figure, my guess would be that it's an even highter percentage than that. Standing, as we knew it anyway, has been gone from Brighton since 1997. Most of our younger fan base have never experienced it. Times have changed.
