So freaking annoying, I hope he's ok.

Given he walked off the pitch I'm hopeful. The Finn has looked reasonable as a back up. Hopefully just a game or so missing.

"Very sore" according to Hughton so doesn't sound like anything long term hopefully. Maybe just one game for Maenpaa.

Isn't very sore code for 'out for 7 months', or is that 'should return to training in a week or so'.

That was one almighty clatter he took. Great to see him at least be able to walk off. He was also able to get his jersey over his head, which was another small positive.

Hughton is awaiting reports on goalkeeper David Stockdale, who took a blow to the shin.

According to The Argus. Sounds like it could've been much worse.

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
He took a massive clatter to his lower shin, has been seen on crutches & wearing a boot according to Twitter.

Just seen him at the hospital-wearing a protective boot and looking forlorn...

I thought that ''should return to training in a week or so'' was the code for 'out for 7 months'................................................

Standard to have an x-ray though, and I doubt many people look all that pleased when they're waiting around at the RSCH. Especially not on a Friday night with all the drunks.
