Not that I have listened to all of 5-live's output on a Saddam.
But what I have heard, when asked, all of the experts in question, have been very cagey about Saddam swinging.
Plenty of comments, like, 'he has leave to appeal' & 'Europe won't want a death penalty, which could work for Saddam'.

Suprisingly at no point have I heard anyone say, it's a done deal, build the platform, they'll be a hanging tonight.

I think there will be some kind of back down. He will appeal and have the sentance reduced to life etc. This will then be served under house arrest due to the fact that a prison will not be able to hold him.

I think he'll hang (because that's what Bush has decided)

Blair is a disgrace to this country and for all our soldiers who have died in the Iraq war.He doesn't have the balls to say what he thinks should happen to Saddam.Intead he will leave that to the Iraqi Government.Thats nice for all our boys who have laid down their lives for him.

You and world politics just have this cursory, nodding-terms acquaintance, don't you?

Blair certainly got egg on his face for that speech.
