Sad News for Lord Bracknell

Lady Bracknell

It's not the happiest of mornings here because Lord B received a telephone call at about 9.45 telling him his mother had died, peacefully in her sleep first thing this morning up in Cheshire where she lived.

She was 84 but her death was entirely unexpected so it's knocked everyone for six and right now, with his brother across the Atlantic, all the arrangements are falling to him so he's spending most of his time liaising with undertakers, priests and the rest of the family.

As a result, he may be a little distracted this week and not as able as he would wish to keep NSC up to date with developments.
