Sometimes I can just imagine you lot going around like a rabble with pitch forks and burning torches. Don't you think it might be a good idea to keep someone on who's at least seen us play before?
So here's how it goes, according to most folk on here, everyone is sacked after we beat Northampton on Tuesday. Bill Shankly (or whoever you lot think is going to take over at the moment) strolls into the training ground on Wednesday morning and has a look round the players.
'You lad, over here'
'yes sir?'
'whats your name?'
'Kerry Mayo sir'
'You any good?'
'yes sir, much better than McNulty over there'
'OK, you're starting Saturday'
Seriously and believe me I really cannot understand what everyone fails to understand here. Adams was shit. The coaching staff were coaching the players and going through the tactics as Adams wanted. Do you really think that Adams spent hours pouring over the tiniest details on how we could be a cross between Barcelona and Manchester United, relayed it all to Dean White and he turns up at and says to the players 'God knows what he's on about lads, just smash it as far as you can'
Still, I'm sure you'll all be happy with a few more people on the dole queue. And no, the club doesn't owe anyone a living (although it looks like an old boys club sometimes) but you can't all go clamouring for someone to get sacked when you've got no idea what they do or how good they are at it!
