Just seen he’s left Spurs at the end of his contract and is now a free agent. Probably too similar to Barco for us, but there was a great player in there a few years ago if injuries haven’t ruined him.

Hot prospect about four years ago.

Now?

Probably heading to the likes of Turkey…

If we keep Estupinan then no need. If Barco's the starter and we end up selling last season's (not this season's) best player, then we would need a back-up that's not Milner or Igor (beyond emergancy few minutes).

dont matter
Barco would be wasted playing LB and I get the impression defending isn’t really for him

He's on JSA level of wages from July!
Yep, I reckon we'd just about beat the £90-a-week!

(if we wanted him)

(which I doubt)

(Not that it matters a jot, but it's a no from me)

He's only 24. Seems to have been round for a long time. Doesnt fit our normal model, but he's a freebie, however I can't see us going for him tbh.

But that will quickly change if he gets no offers.
He won't be feeling the pinch for a while yet, unless he's got an expensive habit, gambling, for instance (not saying he has, but unless he has been throwing money down the drain one way or another he won't be worried about paying the leccie bill for a while. So, I'd quibble with your use of the word 'quickly' in that context!

He was a prospect though - wonder what went wrong?
