Got a text from my mate who posts as mark by the sea on the argus website. He gets more right than wrong

I see Mark has said that the striker we are after is Robbie Keane or Simon Cox in todays comments.

I would be delighted if this were true but suspect this will be one of the occasions where he is wrong unfortunately

Not so sure about that. Everything we have created so far this season (granted it is a total of 2 games), has come from the wingers or CMS chasing every single ball down. Dicker will play a good ball across the pitch, rarely forwards and other than that will keep the ball moving (which was vital to our success last year). His lack of pace and the time he needs on the ball has been exposed badly in both games this year and so he really needs to step it up or he will find himself out the squad. Gus can't, and won't, accept a player than is caught in possession every game leading to players charging through on goal. We got away with it last year, but we will be hammered this year.

I see Dicker played the ball to Noone which created the goal scoring opportunity today. Also rated MOM by many. Hope you'll give him credit where its due...

One of the many occasions. Beats me why people take him seriously.

Well bearing in mind 90% of his "in the know" comments are wrong and the rest are obvious, I'm not holding out much hope. Especially for the Robbie Keane one.
