I work with a lot of Ukrainians here, some of them are ethnic Russian, or mixed Ukrainian/Russian, but ethnic Ukrainians can be just as anti-Russian as the Polish. Poland was forced to be communist, but in Ukraine, as part of the Soviet Union their very identity and language were repressed as well.

Have had some nasty fights at the bar between Ukrainians and Russians. They all sound the same to me, but my girl says she see's Russians come in to bar, obviously, she can differentiate the languages, and they have realised its Ukrainian music and just turned and left immediately. Theres certainly no love lost.

Yea same here... Work with a few russians and poles... (i dont work in a car wash and the ukrainians seem ok with russians but the polish despise them... Apparently a strong tooted hatred.... and shit the russians did to poland only a few decades ago
