Polar Express is the big one, goes 12500km around the north and east.
Better one to cut would be Kingisepp-Kaliningrad System which links the oblast with the rest of Russia.

However I doubt that chopping either would have a significant effect compared to cutting transatlantic links.

Wow, astonishing engineering.

Not the first time something like this has happened but the old ones are still sometimes the best.

Laughable that Russia has labeled Georgians fighting for Ukraine as terrorists.
And Russia state they are ready to 'support the Georgian government ' if requested...

Assist!!! Same as they assisted Hungary & Czechoslovakia!!!!
Yes, that'll be the playbook.
Makes me wonder if we'll soon see a false flag attack on the Georgian parliament, "funded by the West".
The Russian ship entering the port in the occupied part of Georgia....well it's safer there than in the Black Sea 😏

Weren't Russia building a port in the occupied part of Georgia?
Looks like it...here's the final sentence in that article ..."Earlier this month, the first ship of the Russian Navy entered the newly built military base in the occupied part of Georgia, the breakaway region of Abkhazia."
...I need to look at a map, my geography knowledge is hazy in that area

The EU has stripped Hungary of the right to host the next meeting of foreign and defence ministers, as a result of their support for Mr genocide. About bloody time !
Ukraine has stopped Lukoil exports to Hungary and Slovakia. Surprised it wasn’t stopped before but apparently there was a sanctions exemption for them. They’ll now have to seek a significant chunk of their oil from elsewhere - which is probably what they should have done previously.

This is good news, as many almost-encircled troops managed a withdrawal.
There have been at least one similar occasion some months ago when Ukraine failed to do this.
Troops are their most valuable resource.

Here's more detail on my previous post about the breakout from encirclement. Seems that the battalions decided their actions for themselves... didn't wait for a withdrawal order that was either coming late or not at all.
Good for them, I say.
