I don't know how I've not seen this to date, it is an emotional watch. I've still some left to watch, but thought to share in case anyone has not seen it. Trailer below:

Putin's payroll
I wonder if there's something on this. So much of it is about Poland I reckon. Strongly catholic and one of Ukraine's biggest supporters. I reckon Putin is trying to set hearts and minds in catholic eastern europe against the war and remarkably the pope has intervened on Russia's behalf.

More likely than just money, I think is that Putin as ever, is holding further Kompromat over the Catholic church. It wouldn't take a genius to work out the sort of thing it could be. The pope has decided a deal with the devil is the best course of action

I've no evidence for this. It just all ties together in my mind

Seems that ol Donald T has met with Victor Orban

Victor reckons our Donald would have the war over in a few days if voted in.

Can see it now, a peace mission of the Pope, Donald Trump and Victor Orban. Just wow! 😰😰

That's a very interesting (and scary) thought.

Trump would probably say...cede the current gains to Russia in return for stability of new borders.
Putin says...thank you very much, and keeps his side of the bargain...so long as Trump is in power or alive (both quite finite).

Ukraine would probably say...go f*** yourselves. I would hope that the rest of Europe would stand with Ukraine, but if Trump pulled out of NATO who knows what could happen.

At least two of those would be pretending they are religious and that this action would be for the sanctity of life. Possibly all three.

Having lived in Poland now for 24 years I would love this to happen as the backlash would almost see off obsessive religious influence here if it was proved that there was a direct link to Putin and the church.
There is nothing more contemptuous than the Poles' historic hatred for anything Russian and this would add the final nail in the coffin at a time when Catholic support is drastically falling across the country.
Poles are tired of the religious hypocrisy where priests frequently get caught in gay sex parties, sexually abuse children and deny it to their deathbed after they have been shipped off to some African mission school for children.
I could go on and on about the injustices that happen here that are coming to light now after many years of torment as they are suddenly finding a voice to speak about their suffering.
If you can stomach it this documentary 'Tell No One' follows the true and elaborate depiction of paedophilia in the Polish Catholic Church made by Tomasz Sekielski and The Vactican tried to get it banned. (with English subtitles)

The reality is that most Poles are aware of Russian influence in their daily lives and despise it with utter hatred and contempt.

On reflection, I find The Pope's comments deeply offensive and ill informed. They are tantamount to condoning Putin's genocide. The Pope should stick to subjects that he can give an informed opinion on, like god, and the age old tradition of choir boys being sodomised by the clergy.
Ukraine has no choice but to fight to the bitter end. Capitulation now is not an option.
Justice needs to be done for every victim of Putin's psychosis, every woman violated by one of Putin's heroic soldiers, every family that's lost a loved one, all displaced persons. Every inch of Ukrainian soil must be returned to Ukraine, minus the mines laid by the invaders.

Thank you. I shall watch the video tomorrow.
'Religion' has SO much to answer for on this planet - so many lives destroyed.
