I don't buy into this. If you've told someone to f*** off at any point in your life, does it mean that you have no right to be offended when someone tells you to do the same?

If Graham Norton said something out of order, why cant Russel Brand have a go?

Does if you have largely made a career out of it. You live by the sword you die by the sword.

I fail to see what is even remotely entertaining about Russell Brand. I watched one of his shows and he was going on and on and on about the 'Sachsgate' saga. Self absorbed without being even remotely amusing would best describe his performance.

Maybe I should watch something else of his? Not judge him on that one show.

His first live DVD was very funny, also before the whole Andrew Sachs thing his radio show was brilliant with his comedy writer friend Matt Morgan who seemingly kept Russell under control.
Matt was on holiday when all hell broke loose, i still listen to them to this day and have them saved on my iPod, it's classic.

One thing Everybody seemed to overlook at the time of sachsgate was that Russell did manage to rhyme consensual with menstrul off the top of his head, he may sometimes be a jackass but you have to hand it to him and except that he is quite intelligent.

Nope, he's a cock. I used to see him tease pillheads on MTV Dance late at night many moons ago and he was a truly annoying prancing self-promoter in them days too. Being a c*nt doesn't make you funny and nor does having a 100th of Stephen Fry's vocabulary and attempting to sound creative with it. A bellend in trousers, which all bellends mostly are i suppose, but this one is bound to be bulbous and diseased rather than ever pleasing.
Perry, not Mason, was a twatoid last week too. She would high-five Ross Noble when she got one of his jokes, completely ruining his flow. Nothing worse, i imagine, when being a ribtickler to have someone say "oh now that was amusing and I applaud you for the flexibility and creativity of that particular jape", when laughing is opinion enough.

Russell Brand was amusing for about a year. He has since reverted to being the attention seeking media whore he seemed to be when he first started doing crappy late night telly shows. And let us not forget the man who complains about media intrusion, pointless celebrity etc made his name on Big Brother's Big Mouth. Spiny, drug addled nonsense of a man.

In fairness his radio used to be pretty good as Bootsseagull has said. He combined really well with Matt Morgan, and when Noel Gallagher was on it with him a few times it was quite funny. Both of them knew when to put Brand in his place.

Noel and Matt did put Russell in his place when he was being extremely self obssessed etc, it was only when he had guests on that it all went pair shaped. He is very much a marmite comedian, I would also put Noel fielding and Ricky Gervais in that category, either get there jokes or don't.
