Russell Brand has been complaining about Graham Norton bringing up his marriage on his show,

The Rock of Ages star lost his temper, saying: "My mum is here. She got upset when you dragged up my marriage.

"I saw her cry, Graham. That's the reality because it's real people, Graham, that's my real mum.

"I have come here to promote a film and you made my mum cry. I don't see you as that sort of person, Graham."

Pity he didnt worry about " real people " after his phone call to Andrew Sachs.

I watched it with the wife and Brand came across as an irritating cock of the highest order - so to read this is not that surprising.

This comment sums it up
"Oh, the man who phoned the elderly Andrew Sachs to tell him that he sh***** his grand-daughter suddenly demands that his private life be off-limits?"

To be fair, Russell Brand phoned up Andrew Sachs to ask why he failed to turn up for an interview on his show. Jonathon Ross bought up the subject of Sach's Granddaughter.

Yes, yes he did. No surprise to see him trying to chat up Emily Blunt either (although she is f***ing FIT).

Truth is, that chat show interviews are dull enough these days, with "guest" essentially just playing out a gig on a promotional tour. Those "movie" interviews are dull enough as a 3 minute segment on Daybreak, but to eek them out to 20 mins on a chat show is just painful. They HAVE to ask guests about more than just the film plug or it becomes unspeakably boring. Sorry Russell, but if you aren't prepared to talk about your private life, don't do chat shows.

he's in no postion to get pissy about it, but its odd that it was brought up with him but wasnt last week with Perry (not that i recall anyway).

I don't buy into this. If you've told someone to f*** off at any point in your life, does it mean that you have no right to be offended when someone tells you to do the same?

If Graham Norton said something out of order, why cant Russel Brand have a go?

Because Brand has made all his money from telling people to f*** off and trying too wind people up.

The curse of "celebrity". You enter into a expensive and ridiculous marriage with another 'celebrity' (not designed to raise your profiles) then out of the blue, without the slightest hint of expectation and to the surprise of everyone it goes wrong and you end up divorced. The an interviewer wants to ask you questions about it and it upsets our mum on a TV chat show (not designed to raise your profile). All you and your dear old mum wanted was for you to settle down and marry a nice girl, who would have thought Katy Perry wasn't that nice girl?
