Heard a rumour that Murray is going to Charlton for £500k I would be serious;ly p....d off if that happened and they made that much money out of selling him.

Fair enough - I would be happy in the knowledge that walking away from us to Palace in search of a few extra sheckles was a failure from beginning to end.....God's judgement.

He will have the same problems at Charlton. The odd bright moment. A glimpse of promise. Not enough apparent effort and committment. No rapport with the fans...........

Move on.

I would have no qualms about him going for £200k but to receive £500k would annoy me that they have mad so much that we could have. I haven't of course added in his wages as an outlay to us. So perhaps it is just recouping their spending rather than making a great profit at pour expense.

Having not asked for a transfer will e eligible for a % signing on from Charlton think it is 5% + 5% to the PFA.

He's entited to 10% of the transfer fee if he hasn't asked for a transfer, with 5% going to the PFA and 5% to the player, this will come out of any money that is paid to Palace, it won't be an additional payment made by Charlton.

Just far enough away from LDC
So just per se the fee is 500k and they lose 10% of it then that makes it 450k. If they paid him 7k per week then that is 364k in wages (If it was 8k a week then thats 416k) on top of which they have paid plus signing on fee, plus bonuses.

In return they got a few goals, probably enough to keep them clear of relegation worries (although they didnt need them to have avoided relegation altogether) and the goal at old trafford that got them perhaps 200k in terms of prize money , gate receipts, tv fees.

Sounds a fair deal all round to me.

Yeah, that winning goal at Old Trafford that gained us over £700k in attendance money, TV money, winnings and more from the 2 legs vs Cardiff was an absolute loser for us....

Murray has no intention in going anywhere and actually said he enjoyed this season more than any other despite his goal drought, Freedman has no intention selling. Basically, it's all rubbish.

Expect to see him in front of Zaha and Williams vs Watford at home.
