I'm sure an advance will be made by somebody.

I'm not relying on it and havent particularly got a view on it either way until I find out where the money is coming from.

But - I've felt for a long time that somebody will try and buy the club when the stadium is a reality.

As soon as that happens we become a "proper football club" (some would say normal run of the mill football club again) and people do buy football clubs funnily enough.

Yes - we're at the arse end of the market, but I'd hardly be surprised.

I don't care if David Golds money has been made out of filthy, depraved PORN - its still the same colour as everyone elses. And he might have some interesting ideas on the outfits for Gullys Girls.

david ralph & jackie all hold shares at birmingham so rules out taking a stake in the albion.
they have an overseas investor lined up to buy a fraction under 30% of the total shares initially so not a takeover yet and unlikely to be before new year when the golds and sullivan will decide whether or not to sell up and yeung will decide to buy them out or not

Just chuckling at Charlton
I would suggest that you look up the history books and see who has the best record against each other between us and you.

With all due respect i live in the now not 50 or 60 years ago, Burnley, Blackpool and Preston used to beat Manchester United and Arsenal regularly then, they don't do it now do they?

The facts are for 17 seasons our two clubs have played each other FOUR times, due to yourselves (and yes i understand there have been circumstances out of Brighton's control for a decade of that time) playing in a division or more lower than Palace.

I would like nothing more than for the old rivalry to be reignited by playing each other more regularly, but getting Falmer is just the first of many long steps your club will have to take.

Let me say now though i genuinely hope the answer is a resounding Yes and you can start to rebuild your club again.

The situation as regards you being above us was the exact reverse when I first started supporting The Albion and our main rivals were Pompey but somehow during the 70s this changed.

I am one of the few BHA fans that has no great axe to grind with Palace but dislike Pompey immensly.

The vast majority that stand up at Withdean singing ' if you all hate Palace stand up' can hardly remember playing them. It must be the same at Selhurst.
