I have heard that during last season (when we could have got £3.5m+) our esteemed business-minded Chairman decided that Bobby was not to go at any price.

As he could not afford to keep him, he managed to get a well-known local building company (no prizes for guessing) to cough up his wages on the condition that if he was sold, they would get their money back!

Therefore we have no Bobby, and no money for replacements!
