Not Luton! Thank God
What we knew then - the Hillsborough disaster was caused by drunken fans so alcohol while watching football was banned.

What we know now - alcohol and drunken fans had nothing to do with it yet still, the law founded on Police lies and a Government conspiracy prevails.

But is there more likely to be trouble at a football match than a rugby match? Definitely!!

Why do we still have away ends? Why don't all the home and away fans mix, like every other sport?

Looks the the rugger chaps are allowed to wander freely outside of the Amex with beer in hand at the rugby tonight, shame us peasant season ticket holding football fans have to be penned in like sheep in allocated area

@OfficialBHAFC: Enjoy a pint in the sun tonight in the external concourse. Fans can now walk freely with their drinks outside #BHAFC http://t.co/

Why is it that you can watch rugby internationals at Twickers with beer in hand in your seats but at Wembley or the Amex if you take a beer to your seat you'll be man handled by stewards back to designated drinking area

Because football fans have a history of beating each other up, breaking things and killing people when they are pissed. Rugby fans don't.

Think people jumped the gun a little kicking up about not being able to drink in your seats tonight when it's been made clear all along that that is allowed

Although some will say different, it is because we're don't want to sit with opposition supporters. I do not know why this is peculiar to football, but it is.

I was recently in Australia and took in a Melbourne Victory home game against Wellington. Remember that 'soccer' is still not as big as cricket or rugby or Aussie rules football, although it is growing rapidly. They also segregate home and away fans like us, maybe the gaps are not quite so big between the two groups as here and perhaps there is not the same level of hostility, but segregated they are. Soccer is also the only sport in Australia where the beer is the 'lite' version by law, you can take it to your seat but other sports get the full strength stuff. Soccer is seen as a sport where crowd violence is unlikely but is still a possibility unlike the other sports mentioned earlier and so Police numbers are higher at games. Our beloved game is quite unique it seems even on the other side of the world.

Head groundsman watching through his fingers I should think......and all his staff rubbing their hands together at the thought of the overtime coming up

Football is tribal, we all know it.

To be honest, I'm glad they don't let beer in our seats.

Imagine if someone spilt Harveys over you and you stank of that on the way home? How embarrassing.

Now, if it was a decent beer that would be acceptable.

Why have they put a BHAFC hashtag on it when it is of no relevance to BHAFC fans
