You can bet that if the police had forced them off the road whilst trying to protect the innocent public motorist travelling in the opposite direction there would have been up roar from the tree huggers and human rights tossers.

Had a family been killed by running off the road to avoid the "race" the pikies would have got off scott free

They really don't do themselves any favours do they? It's like they go out of their way to be hated.

The person driving the police car is brave, imagine the trouble they would have got in if they'd hit one of the horses.

it is incredible the way they persistently break the law and indeed, cause chaos. Mind you, this type of race was shown on the Gypsy Weddings series on Four recently so its nothing new.

Yes but what has that got to do with incident?

It has nothing to do with that incident...I was agreeing with Gazwag about the tree huggers, and then agree'd that if it was the other way around the Pikeys would get off scott free, and then made reference to our wonderful nation as "a joke at times" in particular the justice system...

A horse race on an A road, and ignoring the police. Ridiculous. This is why everybody hates pikies isn't it?

Slightly Off topic , but has anyone seen the road sign on the A27 just east of Chichester which is aimed at the pikies .. "No horse trotting allowed" or words to that effect . always makes me think of passing a chariot race on that part of the road.

It was a 2 way single carriageway road and they were using both sides of the road, racing directly into oncoming traffic. You must be able to see the difference?
